2017 Patchwork Quilt-along by FQS

Hello there,

I am joining Fat Quarter shop for this year's Patchwork Quilt-along for Make-A-Wish charity.

This quilt-along is absolutely fab! The quilt consists of 12 classic patchwork blocks in small size (yes, 5.5in blocks) to make this beautiful quilt. Each block needs to be made six times to make 72 blocks in total. Easy enough, no?

Each block is free to download on the 15th of each month for small donation.

My chosen fabric is Little Ruby by Camille & Bonnie and my background fabric is plain white cotton. I this it will work perfectly. I've never sewn with Little Ruby fabric before but as I had this layer cake sitting around, I thought it would be great to cut it up. It's such a happy and cheerful fabric!

My first two blocks are cut and ready..... here we go!

These are such a sweet little blocks....and so easy to make.

Bring on March blocks!!
