Good Karma Lap Quilt
Hi to you all and welcome back!
Today I'm sharing my happiest and most colourful quilt I have ever done....my Good Karma quilt.
For this quilt I used only one layer cake and this made nice lap-size quilt. I absolutely love this fabric collection and as soon as I purchased it, I knew exactly what to do with it.
I searched for a pattern where I could keep the fabric more less intact and not cut it up in tiny pieces.
I followed this tutorial by (https://silkroadlife.wordpress.com/2014/09/04/framed-my-most-popular-moda-layer-cake-quilt-tutorial). Great tutorial and pretty easy to follow.
Stunning colours!!
Quilt top pieced together....
Let quilt this. I chose to quilt straight lines along the block seams with free-motion flower design in each block.
Done. I am very pleased with it and love the colours in bright sunshine. The yellow binding brings this quilt together and makes me smile every time I look at it.
Now let's hope the spring weather is as bright as my Good Karma quilt.
Back soon.
