My Jumbo Market Tote

Hello lovely people

I love love love my jumbo market bag.....it is colourful and just right size for my shopping.

I had a plan to make this bag for ages....as I do with lot of my projects....and just suddenly picked up my overflowing scrap basket and started cutting.

The design of various colourful pluses is set against blenders to make them pop out...quite easy to make but need precise cutting and sewing. My squares were 2.5in cut.

I have used natural linen blend fabric for the lower half and the handles. I tried to make the handles extra durable and put fusible fleece in as well and the rest of the bag.

For the lining I used medium weight cotton fabric and added two phone pockets and inner zipped pocket to keep all the valuables in.

The bag measures 17x19in and the handles are 29in long.

Sooo happy with it.
