Summer Sampler 2017 catch-up

Hello there

I've signed up for this year's Summer Sampler back in May (hmmm exactly 5 weeks ago!!) and I have just started sewing this weekend. I had few problem with deciding what colour scheme I would like and what fabric to purchase. Last year my Summer Sampler was in rainbow colours and this year....guess what?? It's going to be in rainbow colours again.

Yes, I know but I really like sewing with rainbow colours and I really really want my first ever medallion quilt to be in my favourite colours.

I'm using nine basic rainbow colours - yellow, orange,red, magenta, purple, blue, cyan, blue-green and yellow-green. With these solids I will add same coloured prints to make all the blocks. My background fabric is going to be white.

Well, let's see how it goes and I will let you posted.

Back later today with some star blocks??
