Best Nine of 2016
Hi everyone and hope you are all having fab end of the year 2016.
I absolutely love this week between Christmas and New Year as it's so calm and peacefull. There's no more stress of Christmas but there's still New Year's Eve celebration to look forward to.
That gives me some time to bring you my 2016 best nine pictures, based on my Instagram likes. Looking at this now, I must confess that my Summer Sampler quilt has not been quilted yet (boooo!!) and currently sits on my "asap to do" list for January.
2016 has been a great year for me as I made such a huge progress in my sewing and quilting by learning new skills (Paper Foundation Piecing and English Paper Piecing) and developed my (colourfull) fabric collection. I made few full-sized quilts, followed several quilt-alongs and made baby quilts for friends and family.
During the year I built my fan base through Facebook and Instagram and learnt how to advertise, sell and communicate with lots of like-minded people.
My goals for 2017?
My personal challenge is to make a full-sized quilt each month of the year, which should be symbolic to the particular month, either my colour selection or design. At the end of 2017 I (hopefully) will have fabulous collection of 12 seasonal quilts.
Another goal is to develop my website and Etsy store to more professional level and build stronger fan base specially in the UK.
Well, I hope these goals are reasonable and achievable and will see me through the year.
I hope your upcoming year will be prosperous and filled with happines, love and dreams.
Back soon in 2017.
