"Christmas Cute Cups" Cushion

Hi everyone

This is my latest cushion addition... Christmas Cute Cups cushion.

Pattern is from Lori Holt's Quilty Fun book and it's called Cute Cups Cushion (page 72). I totally love the pattern and have seen few of these cushions on Instagram in variety of fabrics.

I decided to make one with Christmas fabric and picked up couple of Christmas fat quarter bundles from my local Hobbycraft.

The patterns is so fun and super easy to follow.

I quilted the entire white background with tiny dense swirls and each mug is quilted in the ditch. I wanted the cups to "pop out" from the background and I think it worked.

I chose to add a zip to the back as I preffer it to an envelope closure. I think it holds the inner pad much better and gives the whole cushion nice even shape.

The cushion is 22 in square and prefect for out Christmas sofa.
