My Colour-burst Cushions

Happy Monday to you all!

I am starting my week with my colour-burst cushions which I finally finished last week. Yay!!

As you probably remember from my previous post, I was kind of playing with some HST blocks and finally settled on these two.

These are for my sofa as I think we need some optimistic colours in our "January" living room.

I absolutely love the colour combination of Elizabeth Hartmans's Rhoda Ruth with pure white solid.

Both of my cushions are quilted with straight lines....just to make it easier.

I had a decision to make about how to finish my cushions.... and at the end I did simple back with zip and as for the binding....I used 25mm bias binding in 2 different colours to finish them off.

The cusions measure 22in each and everybody loves them.
