Starry Sky Jumbo Cushion

Hi there

This time I have for you my Starry Sky jumbo cushion which I literally finished last night. This is a floor cushion as it is so big and I specially made it for my kids.

This project was in my head for long time and finally I had some time and managed to pull it off.

The blue fabrics comes from Hobbycraft (yes, good old Hobbycraft) and is sold as a fat quarter bundle. Lovely shades of blue!!

I simply cut up all the fat quarters into 3in squares and pieced them in rows of 10. I added bright yellow "wonky stars" which I possitioned in three different locations.

Pretty straightforward.

With the top pieced I made a quilt sandwich and settled on simple straight line quilting. This was pretty much easy and quick to do.
