Wedding Anniversary Bunting

Hi there again...

I have been asked by my lovely friend to make her a "Happy 50th Anniversary" bunting for her parents upcoming wedding anniversary party.

The theme was - vintage, gold, cream, white, lace etc.

As it's such a long bunting (yes, 18 flags!!) I needed lots of fabric, meters of lace, trims and ribbons. And gold fabric....which I had to search around for. At the end I came across this beautiful gold/cream/grey fabric by Michael Miller....and it's called Brambleberry Ridge Shimmer in gold. Love the name!

I used simple 60-degree ruler to draw up a simple triangle template and from that point it was just lots of cutting, sewing up triangles and playing with all the trims and lace.

I like simplicity so at the end I made it quite simple and "classy" looking.

And.....one happy customer!!
